Join a free, virtual, hour-long webinar to explore the Smithsonian Science for Global Goals community research guide, Ocean! How can we create a sustainable future for the ocean?  Receive a link to additional educator resources that will help you to support young people in building their systems-thinking skills by investigating ocean systems and how the ocean connects to their life and community! 

During this 60-minute webinar, you will: 

  • Get an introduction to the Ocean! Guide 

  • Explore activities from the guide using the Ocean! StoryMap+ for educators 

  • Learn about the work of a research mentors featured in the guide  

  • View examples of student actions taken using scientific investigation using Smithsonian Science for Global Goals Guides 

  • Gain access to the StoryMap+ with educator supports
